Frequently Asked Questions About After-Hours Collections
Get Answers That Make Sense for You And Your Employees
What hours do you consider after-hours for collection services?
How does post-accident drug testing work?
We hope any accident is minimal and poses little risk to your employees’ health and safety, but every situation is different. We’ll examine what happened and determine if you need post-accident DOT testing. If DOT compliance is necessary, it’s because:
- Medical attention was necessary for one or more employees following the accident.
- The accident had one more fatalities where substance use may be questioned.
- One of your drivers was cited for a moving violation post accident.
- There was a vehicle that was too damaged to leave the scene without a tow.
If any of the above is true, you will need to conduct post-accident federal DOT testing. The FMCSA requires post-accident alcohol testing to take place within 8 hours after the incident, and all post-accident drug tests must take place within 32 hours.
Do you do after-hours collections for individuals or just businesses?
What types of tests can be conducted during after-hours collections?
We offer a full range of drug and alcohol testing to meet your needs during after-hours. This includes:
- Urine Testing: The most common method for detecting a wide range of substances.
- Saliva Testing: A quick and non-invasive option for detecting recent drug use.
- Breathalyzer Testing: Specifically for alcohol detection, providing immediate results.
- Hair Follicle Testing: Used for detecting drug use over a longer period.
With these comprehensive testing capabilities, PROCOM ensures that all necessary tests can be conducted efficiently and accurately, even during after-hours.
