As of January 1st, 2020, the FMCSA random drug testing rate will increase from 25% to 50%. The percentage of required testing is determined by the annual positive rate. When the reported positive drug test rate for any calendar year indicated is equal to or greater than 1.0%, the required testing percentage is raised. As your compliance experts, PROCOM is prepared for this change and has already made the necessary changes to our clients’ random selection accounts. If you have any questions about this change in regulation, please contact our Pueblo office directly.
